Segun Ogunsanya, Bharti Airtel Nigeria CEO and MD

Segun Ogunsanya serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Bharti Airtel Nigeria.

Ogunsanya has been Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Operation at Bharti Airtel Limited since November 2012.
Ogunsanya served as Managing Director of Nairobi Bottlers Limited.

Ogunsanya served as Managing Director at Nigerian Bottling Company from September 2011 to December 2012.

Ogunsanya served as Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Operations of Ecobank Transnational.

In 1994, Ogunsanya joined The Coca-Cola Company in Nigeria as Head of Treasury and subsequently spent some time in Atlanta on a short term assignment at the Corporate Office.

In 1998, he was seconded to the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana as the Finance Director.

A year later, Ogunsanya served as General Manager and Chief Executive of the Business in Ghana.

Ogunsanya was appointed in 2004 as Deputy Region Manager for the Equatorial West Africa Countries.

Ogunsanya has 24 years experience across diverse sectors including fast moving consumer goods and banking.
Ogunsanya served as Managing Director of Retail Banking Operations and Head of Retail Banking Operations at Ecobank from 2008 to 2009, covering 28 countries across Africa.

In January 2010, Ogunsanya returned to the Coca-Cola business as the Chief Executive Officer of Coca-Cola Sabco in Kenya.

Ogunsanya, is a 1987 graduate of Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
