Professor Olufemi Peters, Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI) Executive Director and CEO

Professor Olufemi Peters is the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI) Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer.  

He holds a Bsc Degree in Chemistry, from Nigeria’s Premier University, the University of Ibadan, an Msc in Polymer Science and Technology from the Ahmadu Bello University as well as a PhD in the same field from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

Until his appointment to serve at NSPRI in January 2014, he was the Deputy Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Before joining the academic service of the NOUN, he was an Associate Professor at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Professor Peters has several publications to his credit, and also a member of many professional associations, such as the Chemical Society of Nigeria, Polymer Institute of Nigeria, the e-Learning Guild and Material Science Society of Nigeria.
