Okyerebea Ampofo-Anti, ‎Webber Wentzel Partner

Okyerebea Ampofo-Anti is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice at Webber Wentzel.

She specialises in all aspects of media law and public law. Her vast experience includes providing advice on defamation law, print and electronic media law, data protection law and compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Bill.

Okyerebea’s expertise extends to general commercial litigation and constitutional law including human rights law and free speech law. She has advised a number of significant clients in the media industry and public sector.

She has written on the topics of regulating the security services and provincial government. She spent a year working as a clerk for Chief Justice Pius Langa at the Constitutional Court of South Africa and six months as an intern in the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court.

Okyerebea has an LLB Degree, awarded with distinction and an LLM degree from the University of Pretoria.
