Livingstone Gwata, FBC Holdings Group Chief Executive

Livingstone Takudzwa Gwata served as Group Chief Executive of FBC Holdings Limited from August 2004 to 2011.

Gwata has over 3 decades of banking experience spanning all facets of Corporate, Retail and Merchant banking. He served as the Managing Director of First Banking Corporation Ltd since July 1998.

He serves as a Director of FBC Securities (Private) Limited.

He served as the Chairman of the University of Zimbabwe Council and Vice Chairman of MasterCard International Limited, Middle East and Africa.

He served as the Chairman of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe.

He has been a Non-Executive Director at ABC Holdings Limited (ABCH) since September 2015.

He served as a Director of FBC Holdings Limited until May 2011.

He holds directorships in various companies and is a past President of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe and Shumba Golf Society.

He serves as the Chairman of two Zimbabwean financial services businesses and the Zimbabwe Open Golf Committee.

He is a Certified Associate of the Institute of Bankers in South Africa (CAIB) and Fellow of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe (FIBZ).

Gwata holds a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Zimbabwe.
