Babatunde Soyoye, Helios Investment Partners MD

Babatunde Temitope Soyoye is a Co-Founding Partner and Managing Partner at Helios Investment Partners LLP and serves as its Managing Director.

Soyoye serves as Manager of Business Development at Singapore Telcom International.

He has over 10 years principal investment experience and has played a key role in the execution of over $7 billion completed investments across Africa, Europe, Asia and North America.

He served as Principal of TPG Growth. He served as a Principal of TPG Capital, L.P. and Texas Pacific Group.

He served as Senior Member of the Corporate Strategy team at British Telecom and a Manager of Business Development at Singapore Telecom International.

Soyoye is a seasoned professional with over 24 years work experience, with 21 years spent in investment and financial advisory services.

He serves as a Director of IHS Towers NG Ltd.

He serves as a Director of Interswitch Limited.

He serves as a Director of Wananchi Group Holdings Limited and Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services Ltd.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Helios Towers Nigeria Limited (HTN) and the Nigerian Government’s Privatization Share Purchase Loan Scheme (PSPLS).

He serves as a Board member of Africatel Holdings B.V.

He has been Independent Non-Executive Director at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc since November 2016.

He served as a Non-Executive Director of Equity Group Holdings Limited, formerly Equity Bank Limited, since December 2007.

He served as a Director at HF Group Limited, Housing Finance Company of Kenya Ltd from July 2008 to April 2009.

Soyoye received BEng in Electrical Engineering & Computing and an MBA from the University of London (Kings & Imperial).
